Peter Bardazzi with paintings never shown before at his Bushwick studio, Brooklyn. The painting on the left was originally called “The Man With Three Legs”,a name given by fashion designer Willi Smith. I changed it later to the “Underground Circus”
The subject are the Industrial Shooters and Sacred Bleeding Hearts. The thematic source was the pop-culture’s theater of violence and it’s ritual (my perception)…. including comics, the cinema and religion.
